  1. Break ginger into large pieces and peel with vegetable peeler. Use small pairing knife to peel corners and areas that could not be reached with vegetable peeler.
  2. Rinse ginger off and cut into small chunks (smaller than 1-inch cubes). Place in blender with about 1/2 cup warm water and blend.
  3. Scrape down sides of blender and continue blending, adding water as needed to blend smooth.
  4. Freeze ginger paste in desired portions. Store frozen ginger paste cubes in freezer bag and use as needed.
