Bring some spring to your yard with these adorable birdseed bunnies! They are the perfect non-food Easter or spring gift and are super easy to make, not to mention inexpensive.
Combine first 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add birdseed and mix well.
Place a cookie cutter on a baking sheet covered with wax paper or freezer paper. Scoop some of the seed mixture into the cookie cutter and use the back of a spoon to press it down very firmly. Use a chopstick or drinking straw to poke a hole in the birdseed bunny for the jute.
Repeat with remaining mixture, then set baking sheet in an undisturbed area to dry overnight.
When bunnies are thoroughly dry, thread 10″ pieces of jute through the holes and tie in a double knot. If desired, place bunnies in small cellophane bags and give as gifts.
